Don't Get Scammed on ROBLOX!

There's been a new scam popping up everywhere in the comments section of ROBLOX. Protect yourself now! Don't get your account hacked!

Recently, you may have noticed several comments by people claiming that a website (robloxlimiteds.pw) is giving away free hats/gears. This is a SCAM!

As you can see from the red boxes, many people are falling for it and following the website's directions to "login", which is just a form that is sent to the creator of the website, and copy and paste the message 5 times. Anything typed in the username and password boxes gets sent directly to the scammer.

Upon entering the site, you are greeted by ROBLOX's familiar catalog screen -- except it tells you that you've won free items and that you can select up to 4 expensive hats/gears. Once you've selected them, the site tells you to log in (obviously don't do it). When you enter your account information, the login box directs you to a page telling you to copy and paste the message (shown in the picture) to 5 comments sections and sends your username and password to the scammer.

If you have, or know someone who has fallen for this scam, immediately change your password and make sure your e-mail address is secure. Contact ROBLOX's Account and Security team immediately if you think your account has been hi-jacked by the scammer (and provide a link to the scam site as proof).

ROBLOX used to award players 10 tickets, or "Tix" as they were abbreviated, for logging in every day to use to buy hats, clothing, and gear. However, as the game grew in popularity, the folks at ROBLOX began seeing less and less of a reason to reward people for logging in. "The games are what will bring them," they thought.
