ROBLOX Moves Toward the Mobile Platform

If you've been following their blog recently, you'll have noticed that (besides some negligible changes to fire and sparkles) that ROBLOX has been moving increasingly toward a more mobile platform. As a matter of fact, they have recently gone so far as to allow people to test their games on a mobile version -- without a mobile device!

This goes to show not only that ROBLOX is motivated to innovate, but it is also trying to push its userbase toward a more "mobile" experience rather than a PC-oriented one. While this may be seen as a simple push to expand its market (and it probably is), ROBLOX might also have the possibility of becoming one of those "favor-mobile-users-more-than-PC-ones" games.

All in all, ROBLOX is moving toward a new direction. Will it be beneficial for those of us sitting at out computers? Only time will tell.

However, as the game grew in popularity, the folks at ROBLOX began seeing less and less of a reason to reward people for logging in. "The games are what will bring them," they thought. Were they right?
