ROBLOX and 8-Bit Hats

ROBLOX has released many 8-Bit hats over the course of its "hat-making history", but recently it has gone a little overboard. 8-bit hats are a certain type of hat that ROBLOX has created that looks pixelated (made up of large pixels or unclear). However, that hats are actually composed of many small cubes (yes, the hats are in 3d). I was fine with the 8-bit Top Hat, Fedora, Sword, and even the Viking Helmet!

Then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked they decided to release the 8-bit Phoenix and the 8-bit Sombrero.

I really hope this does not signify that ROBLOX has run out of ideas for hats and gear because that would be a sad day. I feel that ROBLOX should focus less on turning all of their original ideas into 8-bit versions. Instead they should focus on listening to community suggestions (not only during livestreams), and improve how ROBLOX works. (Not that they aren't doing that but really, why put your time into making hats out of small cubes?) Anyway, this is not actually a news segment, just my opinion on how they've been handling the creation of new hats and gear. (Would really like to see some new original ones out there!)

The Removal of Tix: A Look Back

ROBLOX removed their free currency "Tix" in 2016 Logging in every day to get free money, who wouldn't want that? ROBLOX used to award players 10 tickets, or "Tix" as they were abbreviated, for logging in every day to use to buy hats, clothing, and gear. However, as the game grew in popularity, the folks at ROBLOX began seeing less and less of a reason to reward people for logging in. "The games are what will bring them," they thought. Were they right?
